Bilocation shift occur when a therianthrope's functional human body and theriotype appear in two locations on the physical plane simultaneously. This shift is different from astral shift due to it occurring in the physical plane. [1] [2] The theriotype can appear to be solid or ghostly. Some accounts report that their theriotype can or can not interact with people and objects.
This shift was previously also referred to as a "Relocation shift" and was discussed by members on AHWW as early as 1999. [3]
Bilocation is an ancient phenomenon that is considered to be a psychic ability. There is no scientific evidence that bilocation is possible, and cases are usually anecdotal reports that can not be verified. It's also important to note that there is no strong scientific proof of auras, astral travel, or out of body experiences. They may not necessarily be spiritual in nature, but could be explained by ordinary events. Astral shifts could be the result of our brains trying to process the surroundings and the effects of sensory fatigue, a well documented effect which is at work in those able to perceive common optical illusions. Seeing auras or outlines around people and objects can simply be due to eye fatigue and other perceptual processes.
