In the near future, proper citation including links to the original discussions surrounding the symbols creation will be provided.
In the interim, we have removed misleading information regarding the Theta-Delta being a criminal branding. This concept was baked from a half truth by the Therian Temple group in an effort to steer new members of the community away from safe and reasonable spaces and into a position where members of the temple could manipulate them for profit. This information is false and has sought to divide and weaken the community.
This is a unique symbol which is a product of community collaboration and consensus. This article is not a place for conjecture or conspiracy theory.
Any assistance wikifying this article would be appreciated. We are looking for screen caps and links to archive pages from werelist and other community forums circa 2003. Addition of references would help out a lot, as there is a lot to be done in improving this wiki. We plan to get to it in the next couple of months if not completed by a contributor before we are able.
