For a few years now, videos on social media such as Vine (later TikTok) and YouTube showed wolves, lions and foxes living as a pet in peoples homes. As crazy as this may seem, it's real. Unfortunately.

If you take a wolf out of its territory, you don't take the home away. You take the wolf away. The only thing from there that stays with the wolf is its wild soul. That is the problem with this. Wolves, if anything, should not be put in homes and, instead, if taken out of their home, should be taken to animal sanctuaries and zoos that help prevent poaching and hunting of endangered animals, plus other scenarios that can harm them. But, why?

Well, humans domesticated wolves about a thousand years ago or so during the Neolithic Age, and then they evolved into dogs. Despite this, having a wolf in your home will not instantly make it a Chihuahua or bull terrier.
