So my parents are very strict money-wise, so i'm not yet allowed to buy things off of Amazon on my own yet. I was just planning to make a therian friend at the new school I would be going to, but I couldn't wait.

When you're asking for the mask(s), show your parents the non-animal masks people make (Ex: Angel, character-inspired, etc). After that, you could explain how they're really creative, and making one or a few of your own could be a way to do something different than sit on your phone all day (Note: I phrase it like this to appeal to the parents, I'm not saying anyone actually does that :3) Finally, you could also explain that you would need to buy the materials to make it. I recommend buying the supplies in-person, but buying online works as well (especially if you want your mask and supplies to arrive at the same time).
